Business Activities

The Association conducts the following research and development (R&D) activities:

  • R&D on the development of measurement methods and equipment for the advanced analysis of semiconductors and quantum devices, utilizing the high-brilliance and high-coherence synchrotron radiation characteristic of SPring-8.

  • Research to acquire knowledge regarding the quantitative performance specifications of measurement equipment necessary to realize such advanced analysis.

  • Research to acquire knowledge on expanding the scope of applications for the measurement equipment and establishing its optimal operational methods.

Dec. 19, 2025 : Selected to implement the "NEDO Research and Development Project of the Enhanced Infrastructures for Post-5G Information and Communication Systems / Development of Advanced Semiconductor Manufacturing Technology"

    ・Osaka Monorail Saito Line: 15-minute walk northwest from Handai-byoin-mae Station.
    ・Hankyu Senri Line: 18-minute walk east from Kita-Senri Station.
    ・Kita-Osaka Kyuko Railway (from Senri-Chuo Station): Take the Hankyu Bus bound for "Handai-honbu-mae" or "Ibaraki-Mihogaoka". Get off at Handai-honbu-mae and walk northwest for 5 minutes.
    ・Hankyu Kyoto Line (from Ibaraki-shi Station): Take the Kintetsu Bus bound for "Handai-honbu-mae". Get off at Handai-honbu-mae and walk northwest for 5 minutes.
    ・JR Kyoto Line (from Ibaraki Station): Take the Kintetsu Bus bound for "Handai-honbu-mae". Get off at Handai-honbu-mae and walk northwest for 5 minutes.
